How It Starts
If you have an idea, a drawing or a reference, we can talk about making it
Most bespoke enquiries start with something small: a photo of an awkward opening, a screenshot saved from somewhere, a sketch on the back of a drawing. That is enough to have a useful conversation.
From there we work out whether it can be made, how it should be built, what it needs to be fixed to, and what it will cost. If something in the design will not work — a span that is too long, a fixing that has nothing structural behind it — we will say so before you commit to it.
We work for homeowners and landlords as well as developers, property managers, builders, contractors and commercial clients, and we are happy to quote against an architect’s or designer’s drawings.

Bespoke work we take on

Metal Staircases
Internal and external steel staircases — stringers, treads and landings set out against the actual floor levels and head heights, then trial assembled before finishing.

Metal Fencing
Fence panels, posts and matching gates for boundaries, side passages, bin stores and commercial perimeters.

Architectural Steelwork
Frames, screens, canopies, planters and structural features that form part of the architecture rather than sit on top of it.

One-Off Commissions
The jobs that do not fit a category. If you can draw it, photograph something like it, or describe it clearly, it is worth asking.

Bespoke metalwork — common questions
I only have a photograph or a sketch. Is that enough to start?
Yes. A photograph, a rough sketch or a reference image you have saved is a perfectly good starting point. Send it with your postcode and we will tell you what is possible.
Can you work from an architect or designer’s drawings?
Yes. Send the drawings and specification and we will quote against them. We also work directly with builders and contractors on site.
What kinds of bespoke metalwork do you make?
Staircases, fencing, structural and architectural steel features, frames, screens and one-off commissions. If you are unsure whether something is within scope, ask — it is a quick conversation.
Do you carry out repairs?
No. We design, fabricate and install new metalwork. We do not offer repair or emergency call-out services.
